ALAS, A NEW YEAR.

Happy New Year, folks.

2012 - what a whirlwind of a year that ended on a beautiful note. If these past few months are any indication of the direction that my life is headed, then I welcome 2013 with open arms. *Cue "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed*

Last year... Getting to see and meet a handful of my favorite bands while working as a runner, what a fabulous job that was while it lasted. Meeting and falling in love with this cute guy, Drew. Starting a new job at an awesome ad agency with great people. Taking too many photos of my adorable kitty bebe.

Here's to the next twelve.

On another note, here's a list of my top ten albums from 2012.

10. Geographer - Myth
9. Bright Moments - Natives
8. Wintersleep - Hello Hum
7. Mystery Jets - Radlands
6. Now, Now - Threads
5. Mother Mother - The Sticks
4. Lord Huron - Lonesome Dreams
3. Alt J - An Awesome Wave
2. Joshua James - From the Top of Willamette Mountain

Good Old War - Come Back as Rain

Miguel - Kaleidoscope Dream
Oberhofer - Time Capsules II
Saint Motel - Voyeur
Daughter - Smother (and both EPs from 2011 are great)

I'm too hungover from drinking three beers last night to think of anything else to say, so here's to new beginnings.

-k.
