POETRY.

Aside from my well-known literary favorites, Bukowski & Plath, there's Tyler Knott Gregson. I actually stumbled across his poetry on Tumblr a while back and instantly fell in love with it. Of course, his poetry is on a different level than the classics, but I love the way he is able to word the trials, tribulations, and pleasures of life in such an effortless way.

These are from his Typewriter Series. A series of poems in which he sits down and types the first words that come to mind without hesitation. My favorite thing about his Typewriter Series is the fact that he types on whatever scrap of paper he can find at that moment, whether it be a page torn out of a book, a receipt, a map, or a motion sickness bag.
